Colonial Downs is a part of the Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. family.  In addition, JEI operates 5 casinos in Colorado and Nevada, and 22 video gaming facilities/truck plazas in Louisiana.

We offer year-round employment at our main office in New Kent and at our off track betting sites (OTBs) located throughout Virginia.  Seasonal employment is available in New Kent during our live racing seasons.

As a part of the licensing process, a background investigation, including a criminal history check, is conducted.  The initial license fee (maximum of $65) and annual renewal fees are the responsibility of the employee and must be paid at the time of submitting the license application to the VRC.
