Harness Racing’s Top National Driver to Compete at Colonial Downs This Weekend

(NEW KENT, VA) — Ronnie Wrenn Jr., harness racing’s winningest driver this year, will compete at Colonial Downs this weekend.

The 27 year old will be in the sulky primarily for trainer Dean Eckley’s horses, but he has several other drives scheduled as well. Wrenn sits atop the national driver rankings with 489 wins from 2,228 starts in 2013 alone. He also has 349 seconds, 304 third place finishes and his horses have earned $1,984,245. Dave Palone is second in wins this year 472.

Wrenn started driving in 2008 and has amassed 2,228 career wins. His lifetime UDRS is .352. He has seven drives scheduled Saturday and six on Sunday. Post time both days is 1 PM.
