We have made things easier to subscribe to our feeds. If you have an account with any of the providers listed, just click on the service you have to add our newsfeed to your homepage with that service.

* What browsers can I add the feed on to?

There are only a few browsers that you are able to add the feed to. What will happen is it will bookmark the feed and then the links within the feed to the articles will be added to the bookmark Requires Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, Mozilla, Opera and there may be others as well. (IE 6 DOES NOT support RSS feeds!)

** What is an RSS Feed?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication", it is an easy way for us along with many other sites to distribute changing information very rapidly.

How do I get the feed?
First you need a "RSS Aggregator". This is usually built in to some web browsers such as "Firefox", "Internet Explorer 7.0", "Opera" or can be added on to others that do not. Some websites such as "Yahoo" and "Google" have them built into them where the news will be displayed on your "Yahoo" or "Google" homepage. This is how Yahoo displays their content and how it changes rapidly.

After you have a RSS Aggregator you then click on one of the links to get the URL or "Web Address" of the news feed. The links to the feeds are the "RSS icons" that you see next to the feeds name. This icon looks like .

So what does this mean to me?
What this means is that you can subscribe to our news feeds and recieve updates as they happen on our site. This is perfect fo those of you following the "Handicapping Contest" at our OTBs and for those of you who would like to keep up to date with events here at Colonial Downs.

For web developers, you can link your site to our news feed as well. With given credits and a link to our site you may place the feed on your site.

Terms of Service** - Users may use our feeds for personal or non-commercial use. You may place the feed on your site, however if you choose to do so you must place credits to Colonial Downs and must also place a link to the link indicated on the channel link.
