Sunday June 15th – Father Day Celebration! Free Colonial Downs Baseball Caps to the first 3,000 paid admissions. One recliner will be given away after each race to a lucky Dad! A military father and his family will be recognized in the winners circle after each race. Food Specials on all levels: 1st floor: Pizza & Popcorn for Pop. Jockey Club: Pasta for Pop. Turf Club: Prime Rib for Pop.

Friday June 20th - $2.00 Draft Beer Night
Saturday June 21st - Colonial Turf Cup (Gr. III) & 2nd annual “Rhythm, Bets ‘N Brews” Festival; See thoroughbred racing’s top 3 year old turf horses compete in the 4th running of the Turf Cup. The first 3500 paid admissions will receive a free commemorative Turf Cup Beer Stein (pictured right). Enjoy over 20 microbrews, festival food, live music & entertainment all day from 11 AM – 6 PM in the “Rhythm, Bets ‘N Brews” Festival. Purchase a sampling glass with tickets, or buy individual pints!

Friday June 27th - $2.00 Draft Beer Night
Saturday June 28th/Sunday June 29th – “Win-Place-Show For the Cure” Family Weekend. Enjoy an afternoon of family activities, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure (breast cancer awareness) Richmond affiliate. Activities include bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, giant slide, magician Jonathan Austin, clowns and more! Kids get a chance to race in a 100 yard dash on the track after the horse races! The first 2500 paid admissions each day receive a FREE Mister Potato Head Jockey figurine (pictured right)!

Thursday July 3rd/Friday July 4th – “Racing To The Stars & Stripes” – a horse racing/live music/fireworks tripleheader! Enjoy live horse races from 5:00 – 8:45 PM, followed by a patriotic trackside concert and fireworks at 9:30 PM.



Saturday July 5th/Sunday July 6th – Turf n` Tires a salute to Auto Racing at Colonial Downs. Enjoy a NASCAR style simulator, Tire Change Challenge Tournaments and RC Stock Car Racing Tournaments. Meet NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison on July 5th! See race cars from Southside and Langley Speedways on display! Sponsored by Pearson Toyota and Pit Stop convenience stores.

Friday July 11th - $2.00 Beer Night!
Saturday July 12th –3rd annual Hooters Beach Party & 1st ever Escorted MotorcycleRide. Over 20Hooters girls will be on hand all afternoon to help with beach games, contests and giveaways in this light hearted, fun afternoon. The first 3,000 paid admissions will receive a FREE Colonial Downs/Hooters Beach Towel (pictured right)! Spend the afternoon at our trackside man made beach! Stay tuned for details on an escorted motorcycle ride that leaves from the Williamsburg Hooters and ends up at the track!

Saturday July 19th – Virginia Derby (Gr. II) Day/3rd annual Derby Trackside Party/1st ever Picnic on the Turn/Virginia Derby 5K Fun Run! This will be the biggest day in Virginia horse racing history. All-inclusive Trackside Party tickets are only $25 (in advance) and can be purchased on line via the Colonial Downs home page. The Derby will be broadcast live nationally again on CBS Sports from 5-6 PM!!

Friday July 25th - $2.00 Draft Beer Night
Saturday July 26th – Colonial Downs’ annual Handicapping Classic. The top three finishers will advance to January’s NTRA/Daily Racing Form $1,000,000 Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas. Entry fee is $150. Enter on line via the Colonial Downs home page.
Sunday July 27th – Pokerfest! Virginia’s largest FREE Texas Holdem Tournament will take place starting at 3 PM. Stay tuned for more details! Several thousand dollars in betting vouchers will be up for grabs!

Friday August 1st - $2.00 Draft Beer Night
Saturday August 2nd – Fan Appreciation Day! Twenty-five cent Hot Dogs, Soft Drinks, Admission and more!!
