Box Seats

Centrally located in our covered Grandstand, Box Seats offer guests a breath of fresh air, a respite from the elements, and spectacular views of the homestretch and finish line. This spacious dining friendly seating option provides accommodations for four to six guests.

Box Seat tickets offer access to all the first floor amenities as well as limited food and beverage service from our Jockey Club dining room during Thoroughbred Season. During Harness Season Box Seats still afford amazing views of the track and are included in General Admission price; however they are not serviced by our Jockey Club dining room.

Box Seats are available for season ticket purchase or for individual days. As with all reserved seating options, advance reservations are highly recommended.

Dress Code: Casual attire; abbreviated and apparel which displays lewd or vulgar language will not be tolerated.

• Harness Racing - Gates open one (1) hour prior to post time.
• Thoroughbred - Gates open one (1) hour prior to post time.
• Colonial Downs prohibits patrons from bringing in food and/or beverages not purchased on the premises.
• No pets; service animals are welcome.
• Smoking policy: Colonial Downs is a smoke-free facility pursuant to the Virginia Clean Air Act.

Box Seating Reservations

Advance Reservations are highly recommended as far in advance as possible, and will require payment by credit card at time reservation is being made. Advance reservations require minimum 4 or 6 guests in party. Colonial Downs does not guarantee specific box requests but will make every effort to accommodate customer requests. Dining Rooms open 1 hour prior to post time. Advance reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.
