The Colonial Downs "Green"

The Green is used for various events and activities throughout the Summer Thoroughbred Season and in many cases is open to everyone who has General Admission or any higher level admission (excludes events such as The Virginia Derby "Party Zone").

"Group on the Green": Enjoy great outdoor entertainment! Our giant corporate tent on The Green, adjacent to the grandstand, provides your guests the chance to experience the horse-powered excitement up-close and personal! So come on and enjoy great food and fun! Minimum group size: 50 people for "Group on the Green" tent usage.

Dress Code: Casual attire; abbreviated and apparel which displays lewd or vulgar language will not be tolerated

*Gates open one (1) hour prior to post time.
*Colonial Downs prohibits patrons from bringing in food and/or beverages not purchased on the premises.
*No pets; service animals are welcome.
