Turf Club reservations allow access to our premiere and exclusive fourth floor dining room. The fare is seasonal, robust, and when combined with a wide assortment of wine, beer and spirits, becomes a culinary treat you don’t want to miss.

The full service dining area is tiered and offers an extraordinary bird’s eye view of the homestretch and finish line. Most tables have private televisions so you are never divided from the action, both here and around the world. Wager like a professional handicapper with one of our numerous pari-mutuel tellers or self service machines, and then stand on the exclusive Turf Club balcony and watch as your picks drive for the wire.

Season tickets are available so reserve your table today and enjoy it for the entire year.

Dress Code: Required proper attire includes; business casual clothes, dress walking shorts, dress slacks, dresses and suits. Gentlemen’s jackets are optional. Absolutely no jeans, torn clothing, tank tops, flip-flops or abbreviated dress permitted. Individuals not in compliance with the dress code will not be permitted in the Turf Club. This policy is strictly enforced. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • Harness Racing - Gates open one (1) hour prior to post time.
  • Thoroughbred - Gates open one (1) hour prior to post time.
  • Colonial Downs prohibits patrons from bringing in food and/or beverages not purchased on the premises.
  • No pets; service animals are welcome.
  • Smoking policy: Colonial Downs is a smoke-free facility pursuant to the Virginia Clean Air Act.
    (Smoking is permitted outside only)

Turf Club Reservations

Advance Reservations are highly recommended as far in advance as possible, and will require payment by credit card at time reservation is being made. Advance reservations require minimum 4 guests in party. Colonial Downs does not guarantee specific table requests but will make every effort to accommodate customer requests. Dining Rooms open 1 hour prior to post time. Advance reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.
